Important Trip Information & Guidelines

Seat Reservations, Payment, and Refunds

1) How do I reserve a trip and make a payment?

                                               ** We will start taking payments on July 19, 2025**

2) What forms of payment do you accept?

 

  • We accept checks, money orders, debit/credit cards, and cash.  Once your seats have been reserved, please nake checks payable to: Four Points Legacy Tours, P.O. Box 306, Winchester, KY 40392

3) How do deposits work and do you offer payment plans?

 

  • Yes! We offer payment plans. There are minimum deposit requirements for each trip. Payments can be made in increments of your choosing. 
  • All trips must be paid off 30 days prior to the start day of the trip. Trips with cruises and flights have different payment structures, and those trips must be paid of 90 days in advance. If you book a trip with a flight or cruise, you will be given a payment plan with due dates. 

4) Are there hidden costs or fees? 

 

No. We are upfront with all our costs to the customer. When booking with third party agents (such as Carnival Cruise Lines) they have fees that we will inform you of. Many times, those types of fees can be reduced or taken off completely. We do not pay for meals (unless included, such as Dinner Train), souvenirs, optional excursions, or add-ons. We also recommend travel insurance, but do not currently provide it. Here is a link to explore options if you wish to purchase travel insurance.

 

5) Can I get a refund of my deposit or payments? Can I cancel? 

Deposits are non-refundable, regardless of the trip. However, you can transfer your deposit to another trip or person once (unless it involves a cruise or flight. These cannot be transferred).  Payments made after the deposit may be refunded up to 48 hours prior to the trip start only at the discretion of the owners.  Within the 48 hour period, no payments made after the deposit can be refunded. 

 

 

Pick-Up and Drop-Offs & Motorcoach Travel

1) What are your pick-up and drop-off locations?

 

We pick-up in several central and eastern Kentucky areas! Regular stops are located at:

  • Hazard
  • Jackson
  • Campton
  • Winchester
  • Lexington

 

Additional stops can be added to trips if there are at least 6 people joining the trip from that area. We also can add stops that are along the intended route as time permits. 

 

2) Can I leave my vehicle at the pick-up spot?

 

Four Points communicates with the business at each stop that we are having customers picked up. However, if you leave your vehicle, Four Points is NOT responsible for any damage or stolen items.  Please be at your designated pick-up stop 10-15 minutes early. We leave on time. 

 

3) How does seating work?  

 

Seats are assigned as deposits are received. We cannot guarantee specific seats, such as up front or close to the front if someone has already requested and placed a deposit. Parties traveling together are always seated together, you will not be seated away from the rest of your party.

 

4) How safe is the motorcoach? 

 

The company we use for motorcoaches have modern amenities such as wifi, a bathroom, electrical outlets, and TVs. We hand pick our drivers.  However, these amenities may not fully function in certain areas, and are not guaranteed to work at all times. The bathroom on the bus is for EMERGENCIES ONLY.  We also try to keep the temperature of the bus comfortable for everyone. We encourage a jacket or blanket to brought with you just in case. 

 

4)How often do you stop for breaks?

 

Stops after pick-ups are usually anywhere from 2-3 hours apart. Each stop is approximately 20-30 minutes depending on the size of the group traveling. We also have longer stops (hour) for meals and for the bus to refuel (long trips). 

 

5) Can I leave items on the bus while stopped?
 

Absolutely! Your seat is yours. However, please be aware that items left on the bus are NOT our responsibility.  The bus is locked during stops. Keep valuables with you. 

 

6) Can I eat on the bus?

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your favorite snacks and drinks on the bus. Please be responsible though, and clean up after yourself. We will have trashbags available for you.  Please let us know if you have an accident on the bus (such as a spill).

 

Travel & Conduct Policies 

1) Delays

 

Sometimes delays or issues may occur that prevent us from getting somewhere on time. This can include traffic, detours, weather, and unforeseen circumstances. Each trip is different, and we will accommodate changes  as best possible for our clients. 

 

2) Luggage

 

We ask that luggage be kept under 50 lbs and that is not oversized. Drivers load the luggage underneath the motorcoach, so all required medications and medical equipment need to be kept on the motorcoach. We can store walkers, folding rollators, and wheelchairs under the bus.  There are  storage areas overhead to keep smaller items (these spaces are limited). 

 

3) Conduct

 

Four Points Legacy Tours reserves the right to refuse service to anyone that violates our policies. Unsafe behavior, foul language, smoking, alcohol, and drugs are NOT permitted while traveling on the motorcoach. You may smoke at break stops off the motorcoach.

 

4) Cancellation of Trip by Four Points Legacy

 

Under extenuating circumstances, we may have to cancel a trip. In this event, all monies, including deposit will be given back to the customer. 

 

5) Jett Tours 

 

Many of our customers travelled with James and Carol's mother, Lillian Jett of Jett Tours. We love that you have carried over to us! Unfortunately any payments, deposits, and discounts offered from that business did not transfer to Four Points Legacy. This is a new, separate venture and we have no record of any parties money or trips. In addition, the Estate is still unsettled and we cannot answer any questions related payout settlements related to Jett Tours / Jett Estate at this time.
